About Uren
Uren supplies ingredients to food manufacturers of all sizes globally, specialising in nuts, frozen fruits, fruit juices, purees, flavours, concentrates, frozen vegetables and honey. In addition, Uren’s industry-leading UK-based Recipe Development team supports smaller companies to industrialise their recipes.
The Challenge
Sage 1000 had been used within Uren for about 10 years and heavily customised to how processes worked at that time.
The business was heavily reliant on various offline systems (mainly Excel) developed to address gaps in core functionality to address more complex processes.
Following a management buy-out, the new management team recognised there was a need to review its processes and systems to enable their further growth plans for the business.
