Membership and stakeholder research for a leading UK charity
The Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation (DRWF) is a charity whose aim is to raise awareness to all forms of diabetes so that people may take preventative actions where possible to avoid or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes and to access the support and guidance necessary to manage both type 1 and type 2 diabetes effectively.
On a day-to-day basis, DRWF provides the information and tools to establish and maintain a pro-active approach to self-care in order to enhance the quality of life and reduce the risk of the serious complications associated with the condition.
DRWF funds diabetes research in the UK and around the world in order to better understand the causes, prevention, treatment and management, but with an ultimate goal to find a cure.
The DRWF team asked AHC to help them fully understand the varying needs of their range of stakeholders and supporters, including members, donors, newsletter subscribers and fundraisers.

This was the first time we had worked with an independent consultant in this way and we were a little ‘nervous’. However, the project was executed on time and within budget and with a great deal of professionalism.
One of the reasons for choosing AHC over others for this project was the level and style of communication, which was regular, clear and friendly. Grenville and Jacqueline were incredibly thorough, insightful and guiding and steered our project to a successful conclusion.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Grenville or AHC due to their expertise, the inclusive way in which they work and the ability to keep work on track when curveballs are thrown!
